The GREAT BIG Little Symphony – play inside an orchestra! (Symphony No.1)

The GREAT BIG Little Symphony is rapidly gaining a reputation among communities as a powerful tool to inspire young instrumentalists.
The GREAT BIG Little Symphony was first performed by pupils of James Allen’s Girls’ School in St John’s, Smith Square, London, with the student parts played by Middle School pupils (aged 9-11) and the main Symphony Orchestra parts taken by Senior School pupils (aged 12-18). The renowned James Allen’s Girls School is where Gustav Holst and Vaughan Williams once taught music! The successful London-based professional orchestra Southbank Sinfonia has also provided the thrilling symphonic backdrop for lucky young students in South London.
