Description
This is a setting of John Hunter’s beautiful prayer that I composed for my own wedding and is dedicated to my wife Joya. It is for SATB with occasional divisi, plus organ. The words are as follows:
“Dear Master, in whose life I see all that I long yet fail to be, let Thy clear light forever shine to shame and guide this life of mine, though what I dream and what I do in my poor days are always two, so help me, oppressed by things undone, O Thou whose deeds and dreams are one.”
